Status of current selection exercises for UK-based Staff
(Locally Engaged Staff) 
 

The following selection exercises are currently under way in the Australian High Commission, London. The status of these will be updated regularly as each selection exercise progresses.


• Shortlisting: The selection committee is assessing applications determine which candidates will proceed through to the interview stage.*


• Interviewing: The selection committee is interviewing shortlisted candidates (either in person or by phone).* Referees may be contacted.


• Finalising report: The selection committee is finalising its recommendations to the delegate.  Once approved, offers of employment will be made and unsuccessful candidates will be notified.


* Due to the volume of applications received for vacancies, a selection committee may choose to complete the shortlisting and interviewing stages concurrently. Applicants should not assume that they have not been shortlisted for an interview if the status shows 'shortlisting/interviewing'. Formal email notification will be sent advising a candidate if they have been unsuccessful .
