Where to apply for your passport
Due to the significant increase in COVID related cases in the United Kingdom and the national lockdown, we are taking the step to cancel all passport appointments. This is effective from 31 December 2020 until further notice. Please refer to the Passport Services page for further information.
All passport applications must be lodged in person. The Australian Passport Office in London operates an appointment system there is no walk-in service. Applicants without an appointment will not be seen so please ensure you book an appointment in advance.
Appointments with the passport office are limited. Please ensure that you attend the appointment you book. You cancel or modify your appointment through your confirmation email.
Please do not make duplicate bookings as this increases waiting times for appointments for other citizens. If multiple bookings are made, please be aware we reserve the right to cancel additional appointments. You will not be seen without a valid appointment on the day.

The Passport Office undertakes passport interviews at locations around the UK from time to time. Outreach visits are currently suspended due to the increase in COVID related cases in the UK and the national lockdown. Details of any future outreach visits will be advertised here once the dates are confirmed.
