Security at the Australian High Commission
Security screening is in operation at the Australian High Commission in London and is similar to airport screening. Only those required to attend the interview are to be permitted into the passport waiting room. To minimise wait times we ask that you do not bring large bags or accessories not required for the passport interview. Generally, the office is busiest between 9am - 11am and there may be a queue to get through security.
The Passport Office is conducting passport interviews in Glasgow on 2, 3, 4 and 5 December.

How long will it take?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time for security screening. Passport interviews generally take 15 minutes. While we try our hardest to keep to appointment times, unfortunately circumstances outside of our control may delay our schedule. You should allow at least 30 minutes from security screening to the completion of your interview.
You must book an appointment; you will not be seen without one. You must bring a completed application form and supporting documents to your appointment. Incomplete applications will not be accepted and may cause you delays.
